While every Ekadashi holds unique spiritual importance, Kamika Ekadashi, observed during the Krishna Paksha in the holy month of Shravan, is considered one of the most auspicious and spiritually rewarding.
The holy month of Shravan is regarded as the most sacred time for the worship of Lord Shiva. Throughout this month, Shiva temples are filled with devotees observing fasts, offering prayers, and performing Abhishek.
The resounding chants of “Har-Har Mahadev,” the unwavering faith of Kanwariyas, the throngs of devotees crowding Shiva temples, and the continuous Jalabhishek of the Shivling- the arrival of the month of Shravan marks not merely the beginning of a new month on the calendar but the start of a sacred period of devotion to Shiva, when the entire atmosphere becomes imbued with spirituality.
Narayan Seva Sansthan has treated around 3,70,000 specially abled children to stand on their own and made a world record. This is a pious ritual of Flawless Service in which Narayana Seva Sansthan is continuously engaged.
