About Us

Helping those in need through well-established NGO services in India is indeed a charitable act. Narayan Seva Sansthan, one of the well-known non-profit charity organisations in India, boasts of over 480 branches across the country and abroad. Our comprehensive approach touches every facet of life. We work tirelessly towards furthering several initiatives, including eradicating the root causes of disability, providing corrective surgeries, and offering free education and meals to the underprivileged.

Our commitment extends to empowering those with visual, hearing, and speech impairments through life skills training and specialised education. Additionally, we provide professional skill development programs for people with disabilities. Established in 1985, Narayan Seva Sansthan had a humble beginning as the charity foundation, ‘A Fistful of Flour’, serving meals to the physically and economically disadvantaged. Our mission has since evolved. Today, we offer free corrective surgeries to patients suffering from polio and congenital disabilities. We also provide free artificial limbs to amputees.

Our headquarters are situated in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India, where our hospital boasts a collective capacity of 1100 beds and attracts patients from across India and the world for polio-related treatments and corrective surgeries. Regardless of caste, creed, or religion, we have conducted over 4,43,491 free-of-cost polio corrective surgeries to date. We continue to transform lives, aiming to be considered the top charity organisation in India that serves those in need, consistently working towards the betterment of society as a whole.

Several different charities in India are supported by Narayana Seva Sansthan, where you can make charitable donations towards helping causes or initiatives that resonate with you. By donating to our charitable trusts, you can make a lasting impact as every contribution helps us continue our vital work. Even a small amount of money donated to charity can make a big difference.

Rehabilitation Centres and Service Camps by Narayan Seva Sansthan

Narayan Seva Sansthan has a number of rehabilitation centres for offering NGO services in India and is also known for organising a range of service camps, supported by our patrons who make donations to our charitable trust. When you donate to our charity, the funds help further the work of our rehabilitation centres, divided into physical, economic, and social rehabilitation. While the physical rehab centres help treat specially-abled and polio patients through surgical interventions, our economic rehabilitation centres help the youth and others in need develop their skills through various courses. At Narayan Seva Sansthan’s economic rehab centres, we offer free-of-cost skill development training programs for underprivileged individuals who wish to learn. We also offer computer and mobile repair, sewing, and stitching certification courses. You can choose to donate to our charitable trust by sending a cheque/DD in the name of Narayan Seva Sansthan to our headquarters. We also accept online donations for charity, which help us work towards our sole aim of making lives better. Your generous donation to our charitable trust will directly fund life-changing programs and services.

Apart from these, our social rehabilitation centres have psychiatrists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation doctors, and more who help individuals deal with mental disorders and disabilities gain better social functioning capabilities. Your charitable donations also help us organise several artificial limb and mobility aids camps where we provide free-of-cost custom-made artificial limbs as well as aids to the differently abled people from the marginalised sections of our society.

If you too are planning to do your bit for society, you can donate money to our charity to support one of our numerous causes. From the education of children to helping equip the specially-abled with the skills they need to lead better lives and providing food and medical care to those in need, there are a lot of facets to the work we do, which you can help further when you donate to our charity. Even a small donation to our charitable trust can go a long way in helping us get closer to our goal of creating an equal society for everyone, where there is no lack of access or opportunities required to build bright futures. Highlights of the Work Done by Narayan Seva Sansthan

Narayan Seva Sansthan is one of the top charity organizations in India known for changing the lives of those in need and helping them lead better lives. We offer free-of-cost treatments and surgeries as well as skill development opportunities and much more to people who come from the financially weaker sections of society. Supporting several causes and initiatives to help uplift those in need, while building a more inclusive society where everyone is treated equally and where everyone can enjoy easy access to basic facilities like healthcare and education, over the years, Narayan Seva Sansthan has managed to reach a lot of people. Some of the highlights of our work include:

  • Being the top charity organization in India, we have helped treat the differently abled patients who have been affected by polio by having conducted 4.3 lakh+ corrective surgeries completely free of charge, helping numerous individuals walk without any crutches or support.
  • We believe in providing not only those in need with physical aid but also in ensuring they have access to the economic aid they need. We achieve this through our various programs for teaching several skills and delivering vocational training, helping people from the financially weaker sections of society transform into more confident individuals.
  • What you donate to charity should always be put to good use. That is why we regularly conduct mass marriage ceremonies twice a year for young marriageable ‘differently abled’ boys and girls from the marginalised sections of society. To date, we have helped more than 2000 such pairs tie the ‘lifelong’ knot of marriage through our efforts. All these couples are today leading a happily married life.
  • Polio diagnosis and surgery service camps held at different places organised by our charity foundation have crossed numbers to a great extent. More than 3547 diagnostic & 522 corrective surgery camps have been arranged for the selection & treatment of polio-affected people.
  • 300-400 patients are checked and diagnosed daily at our medical centre, and every day almost 80-90 corrective surgeries are successfully done. Thanks to the charitable donations received, we are able to provide the differently abled with helping aids, viz. artificial limbs, crutches, callipers, tricycles, wheelchairs, hearing aids, blind sticks, etc., among the poor and the needy. More than 12 lakh people have been benefitted from the same to date.
  • For a speedy recovery, physiotherapy and other post-operation procedures and workshops are offered for the patients and we have also set up ashrams across the country for the same. The total number of ashrams has crossed the count of 30 across various cities in India.
  • Narayan Children Academy was established to help deliver proper education facilities to financially weak students. Thanks to the online donations for charity, we have also established a separate school for specially-abled children with special software like JAWS and other customised amenities to ensure access to education for one and all. At this school, accommodation, food, and clothing are provided for free for the differently abled children.
  • Narayan Seva Sansthan is among the top charity organizations in India that work to bring about ‘the change’ that takes us towards becoming an inclusive society in the future.
