Humanity: Our Guiding Principle

Narayan Seva Sansthan is among India’s top NGOs based in Udaipur (Rajasthan). Established in 1985, we have been working extensively for more than three decades to reach out and rehabilitate differently abled people from underprivileged segments. What makes us one of the most famous NGOs in India is our network of 480 branches across the country and 49 branches abroad, that help us focus on alleviating disabilities and providing proper physical, social, and economic rehabilitation to the needy. When you search for a good NGO in India, we, as the most trusted and reliable NGO in India, come out on top. We have become one of the top NGOs in India to offer well-planned and comprehensive programs in health, education, rehabilitation, corrective surgeries, helping aid distribution, and more. Also accepting online donations through the website for our NGO in India, we aim to become a famous NGO in India that people can trust.

We are one of India’s biggest NGOs that helps differently abled individuals realise their hopes, dreams, and ambitions and help those who need just a little extra support. So far, Narayan Seva Sansthan, an NGO that is quite well-known, and its team, with noble reverences, have helped more than 4.3 lakh individuals, providing free-of-cost corrective surgeries, and we don’t intend to stop. Apart from corrective surgeries, our top NGO services in India include free-of-cost education for children from tribal belts and vocational training programs in employable skills for differently abled adults and for those in need. Our other initiatives include free-of-cost mass weddings & Divyang talent shows that focus on the social rehabilitation of people in need.

Our NGO’s aim is to build an inclusive society where people with disabilities are accepted into the mainstream economy and social life. We believe that every single person is special and talented and is just looking for a chance to excel. As one of the most reliable NGO websites in India, our objective is to change the lives of the needy and the poor, so that they can lead a good and happy life in the future. With this spirit, we have undertaken several initiatives where we have offered free-of-cost treatment and much more to the financially weaker sections of society.

Narayan Seva Sansthan – One of the Top NGO in India

Around 15% of the world’s population suffers from some sort of disability, and almost 2–4% of them face serious challenges even in day-to-day functioning.

When a child is born with a disability or develops one, their family and community, more often than not, regard it as a tragedy. Many families do not prioritise the needs of the differently abled, as can be seen by the high levels of malnutrition, lower rates of immunisation, and higher rates of infection and communicable illnesses among specially abled people.

All the issues that can impact a person, such as access to school education, employment opportunities, availability of healthcare, and access to social services, are also issues that affect people with disabilities, but in a far more complicated way. Disability-related attitudes and discrimination make it even more difficult for individuals with disabilities to attend school, obtain a job, or engage in community activities. Many, whether from the rural or urban segments, face several challenges due to physical and communication limitations, which make it difficult for them to engage in social life.

As one of the top NGOs in India, Narayan Seva Sansthan not only helps differently abled people realise their aims, dreams, and ambitions, but is also working towards the creation of an inclusive society where people with disabilities have proper access to bare necessities and are a part of mainstream business and social life. Being one of the most reliable NGOs in India, we will not stop until every child has access to proper education, regardless of their background, all in need have access to life-saving medicine and healthcare, and all families can sleep well-fed, under a stable roof.

Our Objectives

We live in an era of globalisation, where distance and geography can no longer limit us. In today’s times, it would be wrong to discount any individual’s capability to support the development of our society or our country just because they are differently abled. Focusing on the alleviation of such preconceived notions to form an inclusive society, Narayan Seva Sansthan has consistently been working towards achieving the following objectives to become one of the trusted charitable organisations and top NGOs in India:

  • Striving towards the social development of underprivileged individuals, groups, and communities in India.
  • To encourage the advancement of healthcare and the promotion of welfare.
  • To aid the social integration and personal development of underprivileged children, youth, adults, and families.
  • To promote and popularise volunteer work.
  • To foster the culture of fundraising as a nonprofit.

Our Initiatives

Narayan Seva Sansthan has been waging a continuous battle, fighting for equal opportunities and rights for people with disabilities for more than three decades. Proud to be counted as one of India’s most trusted non-profit organisations, we have several initiatives and non-profit events in place, each with a unique approach, to help those in need live lives of freedom and dignity that you can also explore on the website for our NGO in India. Some of our initiatives include:

Education

Narayan Seva Sansthan has several initiatives on the ground to support and promote education for the differently abled as well as for children from the underprivileged sections of society, especially for the girl child. These initiatives are designed to help strengthen school support systems, assist the development of necessary facilities at schools, spread awareness, and promote the importance of education. To date, we have helped more than 3000 children enrol at schools, of which 40% were girls; we also helped make School Management Committees functional and assisted more than 500 children from marginalised communities to get scholarships for their education.
