Non Profit Organization & Top 10 NGOs | Narayan Seva Sansthan

About Us

Narayan Seva Sansthan is a non-governmental organisation that works tirelessly in the areas of education, health, and community development, which we think are the most in need and ought to be the linchpins of our attention. Education, health, child development, water and sanitation, women's empowerment, and gender equality are all important in the community, and providing "free of charge" humanitarian services to society's differently abled and needy members, is the basic building block in an effort to achieve these goals. We think that the trinity of education, health, and community development are closely intertwined and that working together is the only way to create a long-term and significant change in the beneficiary population, especially for underprivileged children and women. Our work as a holistic grassroots organisation working with marginalised communities has earned us peer acclaim and recognition as one of the top 10 NGOs in India from a wide range of sources.

Our Journey

As a non-profit organisation, we believe that any program or initiative should be built on a productive relationship that leads to trust, the basis of transformation. As a result, we not only focus on change in and of itself, but we also believe that how change is achieved is just as essential as the change itself. Local solutions built in close cooperation with the people themselves, which enhance the impact and encourage empowerment, are one of the most successful strategies to accomplish long-term, transformative change. As a not-for-profit organisation, we believe in an integrated strategy that addresses population-suffering challenges from all perspectives in measurable and practical ways. This should be accomplished by empowering people by increasing their capacity to live a good life, earn a decent income, and profit from the sustainable use and management of the resources available to them.

Community-Based Organisation

In an era where "inclusive development" is being emphasised as the way to long-term growth, targeted actions for the welfare of the handicapped are critical. From its beginnings, the foundation's primary area of focus was on people with disabilities, and we have supported programmes targeted at empowering people with disabilities from the very start.

Our Mission

Our mission is to build an inclusive society in which people with disabilities are fully integrated into all aspects of economic and social life. We think that everyone is unique and brilliant and that all they need is a chance to shine. We work on altering behaviours and practices at the grassroots level and influencing public policy at the systemic level with the support of fundraising for non-profits like us, so we can establish an environment in which the impoverished are considered the nation's priority.

Our Values

Disability policy has evolved over time, from basic care in institutions to education for impaired children and rehabilitation for individuals who become disabled as adults. As a result, people with disabilities become more involved and are a driving force in the continued development of the disability policy, all thanks to the disbursal of education and rehabilitation. Our non-profit organisation believes in equal opportunities and works to ensure that people with disabilities can attain their full potential. We work for people with disabilities to promote equal rights and opportunities. Through CSR, we empower organisations and communities to create realistic and long-term solutions.

Our Reach

In keeping with its philosophy of "Our Religion is Humanity," Narayan Seva Sansthan, an NGO in Udaipur, India helps the unprivileged, and has expanded its involvement in India's interiors, reaching the unreachable in the most distant rural regions and urban slums with its services, making this helpful foundation in India the best NGO in India among all the other non-profit organizations on this list.

FAQ's

A non-governmental organisation is a voluntary group of people or organisations, which is not associated with the government or the business sector. The main aim of any NGO is to work towards the upliftment of the weaker sections of societies, which they do by taking up and executing projects and initiatives that promote the welfare of those in need, striving to make the lives of victims and of the poor better. Established in 1985, Narayan Seva Sansthan is a non-governmental organisation, which is dedicated to serving the needy and helping people with disabilities from the weaker sections of society live a better life, by providing them access to necessary aids, corrective surgeries, medication, training, education, etc.

A non-profit organisation (NPO) and a non-governmental organisation (NGO) are similar in many aspects, but they are not the same. NPOs are generally associated with local entities like churches, philanthropic organisations, or even local authorities, and are set up to provide products or services. No member of an NPO receives share profits earned by the entity, which are put directly into the projects undertaken by the NPO. A non-profit organisation may be working for a social cause but generally are more about improving relevant but minor issues, like promoting research, art, science, etc.

While an NGO is often referred to as an NPO, an NGO is formed by regular citizens and is not associated with the government. NGOs focus on larger projects, are dedicated to helping the needy and the people from underprivileged sections of society, and work towards making society a better place as a whole, spreading awareness about causes like women empowerment, human rights, etc.
