Lighting Lamps at Pushkar Sarovar

Pushkar, known as the King of Pilgrimages, is one of the most sacred places in Hinduism. This is the same place where the temple of Lord Brahma, the creator of the universe, is located. It is said that during the Brahma Muhurta of Kartik Purnima, Lord Brahma himself comes to take a bath in Pushkar Sarovar in human form.

The Puranas mention that lighting lamps in Pushkar on this day is as fruitful as performing yagnas. This lake is a symbol of faith and devotion, where bathing and lighting lamps destroy sins and pave the way for the soul to attain salvation.

Narayan Seva Sansthan, carrying forward this sacred tradition, is providing devotees the opportunity to light lamps in Pushkar Sarovar in their own name. The Sansthan’s service team will float each lamp in the waters of the lake, according to your name and your wish, so that it may bring new light into the life of a disabled, helpless, or needy person.

This lamp will shine as a light of hope, compassion, and service in someone’s life. Come on this Kartik Purnima, donate a lamp in the holy lake of Pushkar through Narayan Seva Sansthan so that the light of your devotion can dispel the darkness of someone else, and whatever darkness may come in your life in the future, by the grace of God, your life may be bright and happy, and the light of love and service may continue to burn in the world.
