Bhagwan Shri Ram is the true symbol of Dharma and exemplary leadership in Hinduism. He is considered the role model of the Raghu dynasty and the protector of all living beings. Shri Ram’s life is an inspiration to walk the path of Dharma, duty, and discipline, bringing balance, peace, and truth to life. His character is extremely noble, compassionate, and just. Tolerance, compassion, courage, and valor are his key virtues, serving as an eternal source of inspiration for every era.
Shri Ram has been described as
“रामो विग्रहवान् धर्मः साधुः सत्यपराक्रमः”
(Bhagwan Shri Ram is Dharma personified, of noble disposition, and possesses true valor).
This means he is the embodiment of Dharma, rich in valor based on truth and justice, and an ideal king for all realms. Just as Indra is the king of the gods, Shri Ram is a symbol of ideal governance and character for the entire world.
The influence of sins doesn’t affect the person who is devoted to him, and they obtain both worldly happiness and moksha (liberation). Remembrance of Shri Ram, contemplation on his virtues, and adherence to his ideals destroy all hardships and bring internal strength and spiritual peace in our lives.
Shri Ram is the savior of all living beings and an embodiment of compassion. By following his character, we can not only make our lives better but also establish the path of Dharma, justice, and service in society.
In this blog, we will understand the importance of his life, virtues, and devotion through his key shlokas, and learn how his remembrance and worship can bring peace, prosperity, and moksha to our lives.
