How do I help needy children in India?

Following China, India is the second most populated country in the world. However, being a country of over 130 crore people, it does face a huge problem of poverty.

While India’s weaker sections face a lot of challenges due to poverty, study suggests that children and women are most affected by it. A joint report of UNICEF and International labour organisation (ILO) in 2019 have estimated that around 30% of extremely poor children in the world reside in India.

To uplift these underprivileged children, various government schemes have been established and several charity donations have been done. Every year, millions of donors donate to charities in India that support child welfare. Even foreign donors from all around the world have come forward to donate for India and their charities.

However, despite this, the country still has a long way ahead to accomplish their goal of eradicating child poverty. In order to attain this goal sooner, more and more people should put in their effort and contribution in helping the underprivileged children.

Here are some of the ways through which one can help the needy children in India-
