"Food Donation is the Greatest Form of Charity"
Participate in arranging food prasad for patients and their attendants at the service camp organized for persons with disabilities in Lucknow.
In Sanatan Dharma, the donation of food (Annadan) is regarded as the supreme form of charity. Food is considered a manifestation of the Divine itself, as it sustains the lives of all living beings. The scriptures declare, "Annadanam param danam," meaning that the donation of food is the greatest act of charity. Feeding the hungry is an act rooted in the sacred sentiments of compassion, benevolence, and humanity. It is believed that offering food with devotion and a spirit of service yields spiritual merit equivalent to that of numerous virtuous deeds.

A Pledge of Service and Compassion
The scriptures of Sanatan Dharma mention the importance of food donation:
Anna-daanat param daanam, na bhootam na bhavishyati।
Annen dhaaryate sarvam, jagaccha charaacharam॥
In other words, there has never been, nor will there ever be, any act of charity equal to the donation of food, because all living beings in this entire animate and inanimate world survive and are nourished solely by food.
Please contribute towards arranging Prasad (a meal including a sweet dish) for the destitute, helpless, and differently-abled brothers and sisters—as well as innocent children and their accompanying caregivers—who travel from far and wide to this sacred service camp in Lucknow for medical treatment and prosthetic limb measurements. Your donation will help ensure that this Prasad reaches those in need.
On this special occasion, take a pledge to donate food and experience the grace of God by serving those in need.
Donate For FoodThe very essence of serving God lies in serving the destitute, the helpless, and the needy. Please contribute food for the differently-abled individuals and their caregivers attending this service camp; by joining this sacred act of service and seeing the Divine in every human being may you illuminate your life with the Lord's grace.
