In India, Goddess Durga and her nine manifestations are worshipped during the Navratri festival. Small girls are fed and worshipped throughout this nine-day celebration as an act of devotion. Every year Narayan Seva Sansthan performs mass corrective surgeries on disadvantaged, and differently-abled girls during this auspicious occasion.
This year, we operated 501 little girls with disabilities from 26 September 2022 to 5 October 2022. A special food distribution drive was also conducted for underprivileged girls. Along with this, on the auspicious day of Durgashtami, Kanya Pujan Mahotsav was organized where all these innocent girls were worshiped as Goddess. Mr. Ram Lal Jat, Revenue Minister, Government of Rajasthan was present there as the chief guest and blessed the children. Such initiatives help transform the lives of little girls who cannot afford the surgery and give them wings to fulfill their dreams.
