Shiv Nayak, an individual who took life as a challenge, was born without a pair of hands. Living in Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh, all he knew was insufficiency when he looked up at his counterparts, leading a normal life. His family were willing to do everything beyond their capacity to help him lead a normal life, but then to fetch him artificial limbs was not an economically viable option for them. A well-wisher, from their village who also happened to visit Narayan Seva Sansthan on a regular basis, advised them to approach the organization that offers social services, free of cost. With a ray of hope within their hearts, his parents visited the organization’s president Mr. Prashant Agarwal and divulged their plight before him. A man who is all about making lives meaningful, promised them to bestow a free treatment, taking up all the responsibility diligently. Shiv Nayak received artificial hands with a free of cost lodging and boarding at ‘Apna Ghar’, Seva Parmo Dharma (Trust), sec 14, Udaipur. Today, Shiv has successfully completed education until standard eight, writing using his feet. He performs all his daily chores in the same manner. 'Now I treat myself to be much more competent in comparison to a normal child. There is no activity, that I cannot perform’, says he, in awe and gratitude of his will power and the Narayan Seva Sansthan.
