ADIP Scheme

ADIP (Assistance to Disabled Persons for Purchase/ Fitting of Aids and Appliances) scheme was introduced in 1981 for the benefit of differently abled people by the Indian government. The purpose of ADIP scheme is to help the differently abled people get a better access to the aids for helping them reduce the effect of their disability.

Features under ADIP Scheme

The target under ADIP is to provide every disabled person in need with the modern aids and appliances that are scientifically manufactured keeping the best interests of their beneficiaries in mind. The aids & appliances that are offered under this scheme are supposed to be certified as per the government guidelines. If there are any corrective surgeries needed before the use of an appliance then they are also covered under the scheme. The distribution and purchase of these appliances is made possible by offering grants to implementing agencies like the State Handicapped Development Corporations/ National Institutes/ Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO)/Composite Regional Centers/District Disability Rehabilitation Centers and NGOs etc.

Our Services under ADIP Scheme

Narayan Seva Sansthan is a strong believer of helping differently abled people rehabilitate so that they can lead a more fulfilling life by blending in the society. We aim to do so with every possible effort in this direction. Distribution of free aids & appliances and artificial limbs is a part of the many efforts made for rehabilitating the differently abled. These appliances and prosthetic limbs serve as the extension to their bodies and mostly help them in commuting effectively and by enhancing their motor skills in one way or the other. These appliances are distributed completely free of cost to reach out to everyone in need disregard their economic background.
