Jyeshtha Adhik Maas, also known as Purushottam Maas, is considered highly virtuous in Sanatan Dharma and dedicated to Lord Vishnu. This holy month is especially fruitful for chanting, austerities, fasting, charity, and service. According to the scriptures of the Sanatan tradition, Adhik Maas is considered the favorite month of Lord Vishnu himself. It is said that service work performed during this month paves the way for happiness, peace, and prosperity in life.

Importance of the Mahaparva Jyeshtha Adhik Maas is a divine occasion for self-purification, devotion, and service.
