Gautam Buddha once said, “There are two fatal errors that keep great projects from coming to life: Not starting and Not Finishing.” The world is filled with good people who want to do something good for society. It pains them when innocent and poor people get hurt and their worries get overlooked. The empathy and conscience in their heart tell them to do something good and contribute to the progress of society, or should I say, Humanity. But often we find that our goodwill is not headed to and our contributions are not able to help the people in need. We feel agitated and lose faith in other people. This should not happen. Narayan Seva Sansthan, the NGO which has been serving the poor and underprivileged for over 30 years, has undertaken a new project which focuses on improving the lives of less privileged and disabled people.

What is World of Humanity? How it is empowering disabled people?

ManavJi, the founder of Narayan Seva Sansthan and Mr. Prashant Agarwal as the Global President, NSS has grown multiple folds. It has spread all over the world, in about 17 countries, from Africa to Europe to North America. The Sansthan has grown massively by being honest with their moto. Their main focus is to create a society which is inclusive to all kinds of people, they wish to bring all the disabled people into society and give them a place so that they are filled with self-respect and happiness. To meet this noble goal, the Narayan Seva Sansthan has started a project called “World of Humanity.”

According to the latest reports, there are about a billion people worldwide who are suffering from one form of disability or another. According to the census of 2011, 1,640,868 people are suffering from speech impairment, 1,261,722 people have a hearing impairment, 6,105,477 suffers from locomotive impairment and 10,634,881 are unable to see. If we see gender-wise, 9.3 million females and 12.6 million males have some kind of disability in India. Narayan Seva Sansthan operates around 40 centers in India which work hard to make this country accessible, inclusive, and to make disability-free India.

After considering all of the above points, Narayan Seva Sansthan is working to make an all in one facility, “World of Humanity.” This multi-facility will secure the future of humanity and be the pioneer of several such projects in the future. It will have –

 Diagnosis center ( X-Ray, Out Patient Department, Lab)
 Treatment center for corrective surgeries, attaching artificial limbs and calipers to help the physically disabled.
 Post-Operative Care wards and Intensive Care Unit.
 Medical and Physical Aid like pharmacy and physiotherapy.

This multi-facility building will consist of several training centers to make the people who have recovered from surgeries make employment worthy. They are –

 Art and craft training for the specially-abled
 Sewing training so that they can make clothes and dresses on their own
 Computer training so that they can repair the hardware and earn a living
 Mobile phone repairing
 Boarding school for the Intellectually challenged people and also the ones who are suffering from hearing and visual impairment.

The “World of Humanity” is a boon to society that will help in the humanitarian cause of the Sansthan. It will have a hospital with 450 beds, comprising of all the modern and state of art technologies for the poor and underprivileged people with special needs. This 7 storied building will be made on 2.44 lac sq. ft. and will give the people in need the services they need without charging them a single rupee for it. This massive project will showcase humanity's power. It will be built in the city of Udaipur, Rajasthan, India.

To empower the disabled people who are have been kept away from every little happiness, Narayan Seva Sansthan looks to help them and make them happy. They arrange various events which are pride for humanity like –

Mass Marriage ceremonies bring disabled couples together without any cost.
Fashion and talent shows are organized for the Divyang heroes which showcase the brilliant talent that they have within, which only needs the opportunity to present itself.
Children’s academy as they are the future of humanity.
 Food and grocery distribution to various poor communities and the patients and their caregivers.
 All the basic necessary items like clothes, blankets, and medicine are also distributed.

This futuristic building will bring about the growth of the entire society. It will have the first modernized prosthetics manufacturing unit. It will also have a research and development wing mainly focused on the betterment of the differently-abled people. They will also provide vocational training to give them the vital skill to make them employment ready.

To take such great humanitarian initiatives, a huge amount of funding ad assistance is required. So, we should come together and help Narayan Seva Sansthan to build “World of Humanity” for the betterment of all humans. Narayan Seva Sansthan also accepts online donations and allows everyone to be an active member of the organisation and bring the change they want to see in society.
