DIVYA – 2018, Surat – Join us to remove ‘DIS’ from ‘ABILITY’ this March 18th!!
  18 Mar'2018

It is usual to see a model walk down the runway and score appreciations, but what catches the eye is the confidence of a physically impaired on the ramp.

The cause is the Talent and Fashion show - 'Divya 2018- Surat’ which will be envisaged by ‘Narayan Seva Sansthan’ for the Differently Able People on 18th March 2018 in Surat.

Keeping in mind the IDPD’s theme "Transformation towards sustainable and resilient society for all', the organization is focusing on removing the stereotypes that surround disability.

The Message? They're not just runway models, they're Role Models.

Mr. Prashant Agarwal, the Global President of Narayan Seva Sansthan shared an insight saying, “As a large segment of the society still perceives the ‘differently able’ as helpless individuals, ‘Divya’ is a small attempt to make a big change in the minds of people; an attempt to make people realize, that the physical condition is not a barrier in fulfilling their dreams.”

The event is to be organized in four categories, grouped for people with crutches, calipers, artificial limbs and wheel chairs, where the contestants will unfurl their talents and will make the audience groove on their tunes.  Group dance performances and a special performance by Jiya Shrimali will be the highlights of the event.

The chief guests with several other delegates will inaugurate the show, and the founder- chairman of Narayan Seva Sansthan Padam Shree Kaliash ‘Manav’ ji will endow his blessings on all the participants and will boost their morale.

It will be enticing to see a lot of paradigms being broken and will make people endure beauty in all body types, ages and disabilities.  Hitting hard on misconceptions, it will be phenomenal to watch beauty in so many facets.

Jagdish Patel, one of our ‘differently able’ participants shared ‘I am really excited and I’m looking forward to show that having a disability doesn't need to hold you back'.

Narayan Seva Sansthan’s efforts to re-freshen society’s attitude towards the 'differently –able’ people are persistent.

Let’s join hands with a cause that’s enlightening and motivating, not just to its participants but to its audience as well.

We invite you to experience a one of its kind show and appreciate the hard work of the stars. Let’s boost their self confidence and eco their sentiments by being a part of their celebration.

This is about Inclusion, this is about Diversity. This is about every individual out there who is holding himself back.
