Every year, Akha Teej, also known as Akshaya Tritiya, is celebrated as an auspicious day across the country. In the Hindu month of Vaishakha (April–May), it occurs on the third day following Amavasya (no moon). This is reflected in the occasion’s name itself where 'Akshaya' means 'indestructible and 'Tritiya' refers to 'third'.The date of Akshaya Tritiya 2022 is 3rd May. The fundamental benefit of Akshaya Tritiya is that anything you donate or purchase on this day multiplies numerous times.
It is said that on Akshaya Tritiya devotees celebrate the birthday of Parashurama, the sixth incarnation of Vishnu. In Vaishnava temples, he is honoured.ParasuramaJayanti is the name given to the festival by those who celebrate it in honour of Parasurama. On this festival, according to some legend, VedVyasa began reciting the Mahabharata to Lord Ganesha. Along with this, it is said that the GangesRiver descended from the sky on the same day. After Satyug, Treta Yuga also started from this day. Apart from this, on this day, Lord Krishna (in the Mahabharata) gave the AkshayaPatram (bowl) to the Pandavas.
It is mostly celebrated among Hindus and Jains in India and Nepal, and it marks the beginning of the third day of continuous wealth. On Akshaya Tritiya, Ganesha, Kuber, Lord Vishnu, and Goddess Lakshmi, are worshipped. It is beneficial to pay a visit to the Vishnu Temple on this day. This day is considered auspicious for weddings, new beginnings, and charitable contributions.
The day of Akshaya Tritiya is believed to be the most fortunate for charitable giving, as it is thought that the blessings from good deeds performed on this day would always remain with the doer. Helping those in need is always a wonderful gesture, but doing so on this day blesses the doer even more. Thus, NarayanSevaSansthan believes that a noble deed accomplished on any given day will bring one nearer to the Almighty God and bring satisfaction, but there are some days when it is easier to receive the Lord's mercy, one of which is Akshaya Tritiya.
You can also be a part in such noble deeds by contributing to the Sansthan that is continuously engaged in helping the needy, deprived and the differently-abled. There are many Seva chances at the Sansthan to choose from, knowing that your contributions will be put to good use and will bring significant spiritual and material benefits because an act committed for the Lord's delight is perhaps the most auspicious kind of act.
Donate clothes and books to the less fortunate
Clothes, like food, are a basic necessity. Food donation improves your fortune and is far more effective in reducing barriers to money accumulation. Donate garments to the impoverished and underprivileged, and with a little effort, you may make a difference in their lives! You can support the children in need at the Narayan Children Academy by funding their education or sponsoring books to ensure that those who cannot finance it receive a good education.
Donate to temples, NGOs, or persons in need directly
Money donations are the most common genre of giving. On the pleasant day of Akshaya Tritiya, many people donate money to aid those in need. Money can be contributed to non-governmental organisations (NGOs), temples, or directly to persons in need. The form of contribution is less important than the intension for giving. Giving a portion of one's income is seen to be beneficial since it separates a person from their material possessions and pulls them closer to God. It is seen as an important aspect of serving the Lord with one of the most efficient ways, alongside preaching and practising Japa.
Donate Food to the Needy
According to the Bhagwat Gita, "There is no better donation than a food donation."And it is true, as well as the fact that there is no greater delight than the gratification that comes from doing a good deed. So what better day than Akshaya Tritiya to do so? Include filling a starving stomach in the list of contributions to make this day even more auspicious. If you do this, the rewards you get will enrich your lives. The blessings of the Divine can be obtained through assisting those in need. Start by donating to the NarayanSevaSansthan, which promises to feed thousands of starving and destitute people with free meals every day.
Donate to make someone's life better
There is nothing more rewarding than offering someone a fresh start in life. Helping and relieving someone's pain can give you a fresh start. So, on this day, please join us in making someone's life better! Contribute to NarayanSevaSansthan's corrective surgery fund for people born with disabilities. The most rewarding and ethical act you can do during Akshaya Tritiya is to do these surgeries for anyone who cannot afford it.
It will, without a doubt, alter your perspective on life. There are thousands of people here who could use your help. With your charitable donation to a cause, Akshaya Tritiya is the ideal opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the specially-abled and the needy in particular.
JalaDaanam: Donate water for immense wealth

Thamboolam: Donation of betel leaves can make a man powerful

Therefore, it is concluded that on this fortunate day of Akshaya Tritiya, any charity or gesture of compassion one conducts is ten times more spectacular and effective than the remaining days, bringing good fortune and prosperity.
Any donation made with a noble intention to an NGO like NarayanSevaSansthan has the potential to be the most beneficial. It makes no difference what is donated or how much is donated as long as the intentions are pure and it is performed with trust. Consequently, there's nothing more fulfilling and consummating than celebrating an occasion such as Akshaya Tritiya with the hearts that require it the most.
