| Journey of an eight-year old Handicapped..to become plaster technician |
| |
I am the son of poor parents. I was handicapped. There was only darkness in my life. My father left the whole family mid way. Our mother worked in the fields of other people to feed us. As an infant at the age of 8 years I left home in search of work and came to Udaipur. On my way, I read a board about Narayan Seva Sansthan. I was operated here free of charge .. I have given up crutches too…I met founder Kailash 'Manav' and told him that I wish to serve in the Sansthan. I was kept in Balgrah. The Sansthan did its best to make me self-dependent. As I grew up I became more interested in my work. Today I work as a technician and put plaster on the legs of the handicapped after operations in Sansthan's hospital. This sewa has made be independent. |
