Calamity in Gujarat on 26,January 2001 ….even Nature began to weep… open dance of death…piteous groans of humanity …who to grieve, when no family member remained alive.. Sixteen dead bodies of one family waiting for cremation at Surat… cremation ground itself felt tired…it seemed it was weeping and saying …stop…stop now…I have no courage to bear any more…I too have feelings ..I sufferd a lot when my own children are burnt… If at such times we do not extend our helping hands when shall we do so… so we moved towards 'punya' (good deeds) ….realizing the gravity of the situation…let's take a pledge…….. |
